Surrounding this on either side is a beautiful arrangement consisting of the UK’s four floral symbols: the Rose, the Thistle, the Shamrock, and the Daffodil. On the obverse is an official effigy of King Charles III, Her Majesty’s son and successor, by coinage artist Jody Clark.
