The most frequently quoted line is inscribed in full on the coin’s reverse, reading ‘At the going down of the sun and in the morning we will remember them.’ Completing the design are blooming poppies surrounding these fitting words – a symbol of Remembrance for more than a century. Meanwhile, on the obverse is an official portrait of King Charles III, who traditionally leads our official service of Remembrance, by leading engraver Jody Clark.
